Song clock cards
A song, on one card.
The clock of a song as a picture to share: square for a post, tall for a story with a key to reading it, on score paper or graphite. The app makes them from your own library; here you can make one from the demo song or any song in the gallery.

Reading a song clock
- The rim is the song. It starts at twelve o'clock, at the vermilion hand, and goes round once, clockwise. Its bands are the sections; the darker, the nearer to the chorus.
- The petals are the chords. Each root has its place on the circle of fifths, so neighbours are related chords. The longer the song stays on a chord, the further its petal reaches.
- The shades are their roles. Home (the tonic), away from home, the pull back home, and hatched: chords from outside the key.
- The vermilion arc marks the key, and the hub says it, with the tempo and the metre.
